Quick answer: FTTP means Fibre-To-The-Premises and as the name suggests, runs fibre optic cable right to the premises. This full-fibre connection requires an nbn™ utility box to be fixed to the outside of your premises, and an nbn™ connection box installed inside your premises that will connect to your computer, router and phone. There’s also an optional back-up battery box for inside the premises.
